British Guiana 1856 surfaced-coloured paper, 4c. black on magenta, initialled "ETED" (E.T.E. Dalton), lightly cancelled with indistinct double-arc d.s.; shallow thin, otherwise sound. A rare set of initials which were apparently only used from 1-5 July and 1 August, and which have appeared in few if any of the best British Guiana collections. Scheller Certificate (2008).
