Tasmania Covers and Cancellations First Allocation Numerals "59", Launceston: 1854-57 Victoria Half Length 3d. blue pair with margins in places, each clearly cancelled "59" and affixed on fragment; one with surface fault towards top though most unusual on the stamps of Victoria; 1855 1d. (repaired), 4d. pair, 1857-69 1d. (4 with a strip of three), 2d. pair, 4d. (3), 1858 6d. (2) and 1860-67 6d. grey, margins generally all round (except 1855 1d.) and the 2d. pair and one 4d. with inverted watermark, all cancelled "59"; generally good to fine strikes Estimate £ 250-300
