Tasmania Early Letters and Handstamps 1844 and 1851 entire letters ex the same correspondence from Hobart to London showing fine Crowned "general post office/hobart town/vdl" oval and circular d.s. respectively, the first with step-type "portsmouth/ship letter" h.s., 1845-46 entires/entire letters (4) to London each showing fair to good Crowned "general post office/hobart town/vdl" oval d.s. with three showing step-type "ship letter/plymouth" h.s. and one with London "ship letter" h.s. on reverse, and 1852 entire letter to Devon showing fair Crowned "general post office/hobart town/vdl" c.d.s.; one of the first group with a stamp apparently removed, otherwise sound Estimate £ 150-180
