Nova Scotia 1860-63 Decimal Issue Covers 1868 (13 Mar.) entire letter from Halifax "pr Etna" to Bordeaux, bearing 8 1/2c. green (2) twice cancelled with "H" duplex, showing manuscript "7" in red crayon, London Paid c.d.s. (24.3) and oval-framed "PD", both in red, and "angl./amb. calais g" c.d.s. (25.3), all on face, two French transit d.s. on reverse. A fine example of the 17c. rate to France.
