Nova Scotia 1851-60 Issue, Bluish paper, Imperforate Covers 1857 (15 Jan.) mourning envelope from Halifax to Dumfries, bearing 3d. deep blue bisected diagonally and with two enormous margins, and 6d. yellow-green with large margins all round, both lightly cancelled with oval of bars and neatly tied by "pkt. letter/ paid/liverpool" tombstone d.s. (26.1) in red, the reverse with Halifax and Dumfries (27.1) c.d.s. Lovely quality and most attractive. Photo Estimate £ 1,400-1,600
