Auction: 8017 - Important British 18th Century Tokens
Lot: 135
Surrey, Croydon, D. Garraway, Halfpenny, 1797, cypher DG, rev. teapot (DH.8 Bis), extremely fine, traces of lustre, extremely rare Estimate £ 200-250 PROVENANCE: Bought 1890 Struck from dies both in good condition. The reverse is from the same die as that of DH.7, which often occurs in rusted state.
