MORIN, H. Numismatique Féodale du Dauphiné. Archevèques de Vienne - Évèques de Grenoble - Dauphins de Viennois. Paris, 1854. Large quarto, pp. (4), viii, 390, (2); 23 finely engraved plates of coins. Superbly bound in contemporary dark quarter morocco, raised bands, spine intricately gilt-decorated, marbled boards and endpapers, top page edges gilt, silk marker; some minor and occasional spotting. A particularly fine copy of a scarce work. Estimate £ 380-420 Engel & Serrure 4689. Partly superseded by Poey d´Avant´s great standard work, but still useful for documentation, and important for the medieval coins of the Dauphine.
