(2) Estimate £ 350-400 The preface to the 1951 edition states "War conditions and the removal to out-of-the-way places of the collections of coins of the Museums in the United Kingdom and in France made it impossible to illustrate the work on Coins, Medals, and Seals of the Shâhs of Îrân which was published in 1945. This album is meant to make good the omission." This edition is particularly scarce.
