Rif: C.; J. 5011. R.O. King A.B., R.N.), very fine or better (6) Estimate £ 90-110 5939 Private J. Mewse born Newcastle-Upon-Tyne; served during the Great War with the 14th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, and was killed in action on the Western Front, 14.12.1916, he is buried in the Vermelles British Cemetery, France. 2263 Rifleman Harry Mack born St. George´´s, Birmingham; served during the Great War with the 2nd Battalion King´´s Royal Rifle Corps, and died of wounds on the Western Front, 10.5.1915, he is buried in Chocques Military Cemetery, France. Robert Owen King served during the Great War as a Leading Seaman in H.M.S. Paladin, he died 16.3.1918, and is buried in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (St. John´´s Westgate and Elswick) Cemetery.
