Naval General Service 1793-1840, one clasp, 1 June 1794 (James Baker), light scratches to obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 450-550 James Baker served as Captain´´s Servant in H.M.S. Russell; six other men of this name appear on the Admiralty Claimant´´s List which includes two single clasp awards for Syria. Provenance: Sotheby´´s December 1990.
