Harding of Wilson St., Meadow Lane, Leeds, "Maker of Patent Porcupine & Machine Combs", used to France bearing 1855-57 4d. carmine tied by fine Leeds "447" duplex, red "PD" in circle and black Lille arrival c.d.s.; also similar 1859 (26 Aug.) illustrated letterhead for William Jackson and James Ronald, "Manufacturers of Cordage, Twines, Lines, Nets, &c.", addressed to Mr John Thomas, Machynlleth bearing 1856-58 1d. tied by neat strike of the Liverpool "466" duplex, the reverse with blue Shrewsbury transit c.d.s.
