The forward to this well-produced modern work says it is the first of 5 volumes, but we do not know of later issues. It is divided into part 1, a review of "Storia metallica della Real Casa di Savoia," 1828; part 2, Umberto I(before 1148) - Amadeo VII (1383); part III, Amadeo VIII (1391) - Maria Clotilde, Princess of Piedmont and Queen of Sardinia (1796). Printed in Rome, the well-produced plates are by Robert Stockwell of London. Estimate £ 100-120
