x Malaya Pahang 1899 (23 Aug.) "on government service" envelope registered to Bavaria, bearing 1895-99 3c. dull purple and carmine (2, one on reverse), 5c. dull purple and olive-yellow (on reverse) and 1898 10c. dull purple and orange overprinted "Pahang", all tied by "kuala lipis pahang" c.d.s. (Proud Type D3), showing dated registration h.s. (Type R2) and, on reverse, Kwala Kubu (25.8), Kwala Lumpur and arrival datestamps. Some faults to adhesives, nevertheless a very rare franking.
