x Perak Covers and Cancellations 1887 (8 Feb.) envelope registered to England, bearing Straits Settlements 1882 8c. orange (damaged prior to use) and 10c. slate vertical strip of three, the former tied by oval of bars and the latter by double-lined oval "public works/perak/department" h.s., showing Thaiping registered h.s. (Proud Type R1), red London Registered oval d.s. (7.3) and, on reverse, "thaiping/larut" (8.2; Type D2), Penang (9.2) and arrival (8.3) datestamps; the envelope a little trimmed at top and at left.
