Philippines 1833 (23 July) entire to Saddleworth. written in Manila and carried by private ship to Margate where unframed "margate/ship-lre" was applied in error and the correct boxed "india letter/margate" in red applied over the top with a faint strike of a framed Penny Post handstamp at left, rated "1/4"; very fresh and fine and offered with a contemporary engraving of Margate harbour.
