Foreign Post Offices German Post Office Kiaochow 1901 German Currency, 1901 (20 Nov.) large buff envelope (350x140mm, three heavy vertical folding creased) addressed to "S.M.S. Fürst Bismark" in Nagasaki and endorsed "Akte Eggert" and "Marinesche"; bearing 20pf. blue and 5m. black and carmine (with side margin) tied by indistinct strikes of the Tsingtao type 5a c.d.s., the reverse with two seals of "kaiserl. marine/commando des kreuzergschwaders". An outstanding commercial cover of great rarity. Also 1914 (13 July) envelope (creased and reduced at left) to Germany "Via Siberia", bearing 1909 4c. tied by "tsingtau/kiautschou" c.d.s.; no censorship or arrival marking. (2 covers).
