Foreign Post Offices British Post Office peking: 1898 (11 Nov.) envelope registered to Paris bearing, on the reverse, I.C.P. 20c. with C.I.P. 10c. tied by Peking Dollar chops with Hong Kong and Paris c.d.s. alongside; the front with Hong Kong 30c. grey-green tied by Shanghai (16.11) c.d.s. with two strikes of Chinese large "R" and British Post Office "R" in circle with Paris transit in red; good. Also 1899 (Jan) envelope from the German Legation, registered to Germany bearing I.C.P. 1/2c. (probably does not belong), 5c. and 10c. with C.I.P. 2c. and 10c. tied by Peking Dollar chop with two registered handstamps and Hong Kong 10c. purple on red with 30c. grey-green tied by Shanghai c.d.s. and carried by the special winter overland service.
