China Taxed Mail A small group with 1906 picture postcard from Tientsin to Queensland, franked 2c. and attempted to send by Printed matter rate, with large "T" and "Cinq centimes" handstamps; 1910 envelope from France to Shanghai, underfranked, various tax marks and 12c. in Postage Dues, the reverse with Taxed Mail Matter label; 1937 commercial envelope from Hong Kong, readdressed to Shanghai and taxed 1c., the rever with good strikes of boxed "1st notice sent/on" and "2nd notice sent/on2.4.37".
