China Postal History Customs Post mengtzu:1896 (28 Jan.) opened-out envelope to Leeds bearing French Colonies 5c. pair and 15c. tied by "laokay/tonkin" c.d.s. with a further strike at left and "ligne n/paq.fr.no 3" datestamp; the reverse with a very fine strike of the "customs/mengtzu" c.d.s. with Hanoi, Venba and Leeds c.d.s. alongside; a few tome spots along fold, a fine and scarce cover.
