China Municipal Posts Foochow 1896 (8 Sep.) pictorial Miner opened-out envelope to U.S.A. showing teacher and pupil, bearing 1894 1/2c. Prussian blue tied by "postal service foochow/china" c.d.s. and used in combination with Japan Koban 1s. green cancelled by Shanghai I.J.P.O. c.d.s., the reverse with despatch and arrival c.d.s.; some edge faults to the envelope, flap missing and the Japanese stamp defective when affixed to the cover.
