Municipal Posts Foochow 1895 (26 Aug.) oversize "Printed Matter" envelope (flap missing) from the United States Consulate to Rhode Island bearing 1895 1c. strip of three tied by "postal service foochow/china" c.d.s and used in combination with U.S.A. 1890-93 90c. Jefferson in black tied by "u.s.postal agency/shanghai" duplex with transit c.d.s. on reverse; some faults affecting the cover and adhesives but this is rare use of the 90c. stamp (Scott 228). R.P.S. Certificate (1981). Photo Estimate HK$ 40,000-80,000 Richard Pratt held this cover in very high regard believing that the 90c. stamp is unique used in China and was often quoted by him in conversation
