Hong Kong 1903 1c. dull purple and brown in a complete sheet of four panes (240) from plate 1 with requisition "C09262" of the July 1903 printing, and includes the variety frame break above crown, pane 4 [51]; horizontal creases on rows 4 and 16 but of very fresh colour and appearance. Extremely rare in a complete sheet as these were usually split before distribution and is possible the only surviving example intact (we have notes of a few double panes only).
