Hong Kong Postal History 1859 (3 Apr.) commercial entire letter to Augustine Heard in Shanghai bearing a good strike of Russell Sturgis, Manila handstamp in red, "4" rate mark in red crayon and a good strike of type 6 "paid/at/hong-kong" crowned circle in red, Hong Kong type 13 c.d.s. (9.4) on flap; horizontal filing crease and flap with tear, good. Very early use of the type 13 c.d.s. (Proud D5) which had only arrived in Hong Kong on 26th March. Neil Christensen collection.
