x New Caledonia 1892 Peace & Commerce Issue 1897 (30 Aug.) envelope registered, insured (100 francs) and AR to Geneva with 1f. olive-green and 5c. green (2) tied by Nouméa c.d.s. in black, straight-line "chargé" with manuscript "6", carried on paquebot ´Godavery´ with "ligne t/paq.fr.no.6" in black (31.8); the reverse with red wax seals removed (resultant damage) and manuscript filled "NCE" rate box in black.
