Collections and Ranges A general collection in albums and approval books from 1840 1d. (25) and 2d. (2), several with large margins all round, later Line Engraved including 1d. Plate 225, Surface Printed with some useful duplication, 1867-80 1/- unused and values to 2/-, 1867-83 5/- with neat "C" cancellation, 1873-80 1/- unused, 1883-84 10/- (2), 1887-92 £1, K.E.VII with 2/6d. to £1, later to K.G.VI including values to 1/- in mint cylinder blocks of six and 1/- booklets (18); also Royal Postage Stamp Album which is strong in G.B. with 1840 1d. (3) and 2d. (2), Line Engraved and Surface Printed with many different plate numbers, 1883-84 to 10/-, Lilac and Green including 9d. with neat Whitby c.d.s., K.E.VII values to 10/- and Officials plus a fair representation of other Empire countries. Condition is naturally quite mixed but with a lot of fine stamps and some noticeable postmark interest Estimate £ 2,000-2,400
