Great Britain Other Illustrated Envelopes 1905 (25 Sept.) an intricately drawn pen and ink scene of a handsome, well dressed young gentleman on bended knee in front of a young lady in fancy dress as a bottle of perfume, the young man is proffering a gift and holds a £100 note behind his back, addressed simply to "S.M." at New Wortley bearing K.E.VII 1/2d. (2) tied by Leeds c.d.s. cancellations; the cover and one adhesive slightly trimmed at top to improve the appearance. A most appealing and well executed item. Photo Estimate £ 280-320
