Great Britain Later Postal Stationery 1842 1d. pink postal stationery envelope, used from London to Switzerland forwarded by Coutts & Co. In the Strand and cancelled by superb upright strike of the black Maltese Cross with red London "Paid" d.s. alongside and variously rated in manuscript; minor perimeter imperfections though in absolutely no way detracting. Fine and extremely attractive. A very rare usage of the 1d. envelope to an overseas destination. Photo Estimate £ 800-900
