† Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Envelopes A146, used locally in London dated 7 August 1840, cancelled by very fine large part strike of the "T.P/St.Giles St. Westr" in blue and overstruck by (or possibly overstruck on) very fine strike of the red Maltese Cross; rubbed horizontal crease at top and traces of soiling though in no way detracting from this attractive and most unusual usage.
