Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Letter Sheets A22, the interior with printed "edinburgh envelope advertiser", addressed to London, cancelled by very fine strike of the most distinctive red double-lined Cross of Stonehaven, the reverse with superb strike of framed black "stonehaven/19 fe/1841" and two red c.d.s.; the address panel with light stain at right and the side flaps slightly soiled, otherwise a fine and attractive example of this rare usage which opens out perfectly for display.
