x Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate III AD, margins virtually all round, on entire letter to Old Rain dated 6 September 1840, tied by light strike of the Aberdeen Maltese Cross in ruby, the reverse with corresponding despatch d.s. in black; the adhesive (small defects) partly affixed with red sealing wax.
