Stamp Boxes and Related Items English Silver Boxes 1904 London, superb desk top inkwell and box combined G Betjeman & Sons modeled as a desk, the centre piece with hinged lid at top opening to an inkwell, the bow front opening to a fitted interior with three recesses for stamps on the reverse the centre compartment flanked by three leather bound miniature books entitled english dictionary, thumb note book and ready reckoner", the uprights at either end mounted with applied scrolls; some minor wear to the books in no way detracting from the very fine appearance.
