Great Britain 1840 Mulready Two Pence Letter Sheets a104, in a striking deep blue shade, inscribed "On Her Majesty´s Service" and addressed to "John Lightbody, Staff Surgeon, Glasgow", cancelled by superb light strike of the reddish orange Maltese Cross, the reverse with datestamps for 16 October 1840; creased and the flaps lightly trimmed though otherwise fine and most attractive.
