France 1849-52 First Issue 1f. vermilion tied on 1850 (5 Dec.) cover to Paris, a fine four margined example tied by grille with Sedan despatch c.d.s. at right, small tear at top of envelope above adhesive only; Paris arrival (6/12) on reverse, slight acid ink hole in cover at right and some creasing to envelope but a great rarity on letter.
