France 1849-52 First Issue 20c. black on chamois paper on reverse of 1850 (28 June) entire letter to Paris, tied by grille in black; the obverse of cover with manuscript pen cross denoting pre-payment and La Villette c.d.s. alongside a complete strike of grille obliterator; slight ink stain and surface fault to obverse of cover but an unusual usage and a delightful entire.
