x French Colonies French Guinea A five frame exhibit with additional material and includes 1882 set to 1f. unused and used, 75c. unused with shift of red and covers bearing 10c. (2) and pair of 75c.; 1900 new colours set unused and 15c. to 50c. used; 1904 Fulas Shepherd set to 5f. unused and used plus covers (3, one registered); 1906-07 General Louis Faidherbe set to 5f. unused plus a couple of covers; 1912 surcharges on Tablet unused and used, on Fulas Shepherd narrow and wide settings; 1913-17 set to 5f. with 2f. booklet (20 x 10c.) and covers (2); 1922-33 issue with 20c. overprinted "colonias" and covers including first flights; 1922-27 surcharge set unused and used, 1937 Exhibition with miniature sheet unused and used; 1938-40 with sunk mounted die proof of the native village design in black, die proof of pot makers in black, signed by the designer and some covers; later issues unused and used with some covers including 1941 National Defence Fund set unused and used, 1941 Ford at Kitim 1f. and 2f.50 coloured proofs and both with variety missing value, 1942 Air coloured frame proofs in grey-green and purple. The additional material with items and sets surplus to the exhibit, includes value omitted, Postage Dues from 1905 with coloured die proof, first flight covers and postal stationery. The quality is very good and this exhibit won a vermeil medal at New Zealand 2005 Estimate £ 2,400-3,000
