France 1852-53 Republic Français 10c. bright bistre-brown on 1853 (28 July) cover to Moissac, a very fine example of this rare shade (scissor cut in margin well away from design) cancelled by "468" petits chiffres, with "85/Bourg-de-Viso" handstamp at right in black.
