India Steam Navigation to India By The Cape Of Good Hope by Thomas Waghorn, 32 page printed pamphlet comprising two pages of comment by Waghorn on the advantage of Steam Power, together with copies of correspondence and postage rates, the second page signed "Thos Waghorn" in the author´s hand. A little stained in places though a rare and unusual document. Also a sixty page diary, of unknown origin, with reference to the fact that Sir John Murray was an assumed name of an official whilst in the service of the East India Co. Estimate £ 100-120
