British Guiana Early Letters and Handstamps Demerara Incoming Mail 1792 (28 Dec.) entire letter (faults at filing fold) from Grenada concerning the slave trade, charged "2 Bits" collection; the contents suggesting that the letter was carried on a chartered sloop together with goods and that there would be no charge, also with reference to having purchased 40 Ebo slaves, 22 children and 18 grown people for £52.
