x Zululand 1907 Disturbances Dinizulu was implicated as the chief supporter of Bambata in the 1906 rebellion and the Natal Government decided to arrest him. Unrest followed and Colonial forces were mobilised in early 1907. Dinizulu was later tried and sentenced to four years in jail. Very little mail from this short lived, one month, campaign has survived. 1907 (23 Dec.) picture postcard (Trooper on horseback with Natal Carbineers´ crest at upper right) to Durban, bearing 1/2d. tied by Pietermaritzberg double-ring d.s.; also 1911 (5 Dec.) letter with the crest of the Natal Carbineers at top of first page Estimate £ 50-60
