Victoria 1856 (31 July) envelope from Warnambool to Devon, bearing Woodblock imperf 6d. (defective) cancelled by "10" barred numeral, showing handstruck "1d" and "australia/paid/liverpool/packet" c.d.s. in red with, on reverse, rare "ship letter/free/warnambool victoria" and red "ship letter/free/g.p.o. victoria" datestamps. The cover in a somewhat distressed condition though a fine strike of the Warnambool d.s., and 1858 (14 June) envelope from Ballarat to London, marked "Per Overland Steamer", bearing Woodblock imperf 6d. (2) tied by "ballarat/victoria" oval d.s. and showing red arrival Paid c.d.s. below Estimate £ 40-50
