Overprints Errors and Varieties in Raised Stop Settings A selection of transposed overprints comprising 1/2d. pair and a single, 1d., 3d. and 1/- block of six, and a further group with horizontal misplacements comprising 1/2d., 1d. pair, 2d., 6d. and 5/-; a selection of offsets comprising 1d. marginal block of nine with inverted offsets on face, 1d. pair, 6d. bright carmine and 1/- with reversed offsets on reverse, and "caslon" impressions contained in 1/2d. (corner) and 3d. mint pairs, and Revenue 6d. (used); generally good to fine mint; printing flaws on the basic stamps, 1d. [37], four examples with two contained in a pair or a strip, mint, and [49] "bulls-eye" flaw contained in a used block of four on piece. Also a few forged overprints (7)
