x Orange Free State and Orange River Colony The 1900 "V.R.I." Overprints The First Postage Setting 1d. purple, variety "V" omitted, contained in a pair with interpanneau margin at left which has folded over prior to overprinting causing the "V" to appear on the gummed side of the margin, part original gum; some split perfs. between the two stamps and the non-variety with a light stain towards foot.
