NYASALAND 1907-32 Large Key Plate De La Rue Universal Colour Trials There were five series of Imperium 6d. and "Nyasaland" type 1d. (for values up to 4/-) and £10 (for values above 5/-). All were imperforate and on Multiple Crown CA watermarked paper. The 6d. and £10 designs are inscribed "postage & revenue" and the 1d. "postage postage" (when issued all were altered to "postage & revenue". The 1d. and £10 designs are inscribed "thos de la rue & co" in the country tablet. Third Series dated 31 January 1908 "1 1/2d No. 5" 6d. with solid numeral and "1 1/2d No. 34" 1d. in brown-orange, "2d No. 6" with solid numeral and "2d No. 32" 1d. in slate-grey, and "3d. No. 8" 6d. with solid numeral and "3d. No. 34" 1d. in dull purple on yellow, each matched pair on piece, fine. Photo Estimate £ 2,000-2,500
