New Zealand Goldfield Offices and Cancellations waipori: 1866 (3 Oct.) double rate envelope (217x88mm.) to Dunedin, bearing 1864-67 2d. deep blue pair each cancelled "09" in oval of bars and showing, on reverse, a fair strike of the "gold field/otago. n.z." double-ring c.d.s. with code "C" and arrival c.d.s. (3.10); the envelope with central vertical tear (repaired with sellotape) and other small faults; the cover folded to reveal the c.d.s. which exhibits quite well.
