New Zealand 1866 (21 May) envelope from Greymouth via Panama to Orillia, Canada, bearing 1864-67 1d. carmine-vermilion (defective at foot), 2d. pale blue Plate I worn plate (2) and 6d. red-brown twice cancelled "4" in square of bars, showing manuscript "5" in red crayon, "10" and, on reverse, W5, Wellington (25.5), Montreal (14.8) and arrival (15.8) c.d.s.; the envelope with two small tears at top and vertical crease towards left though a most attractive three-colour franking, correctly paid at the 11d. rate.
