New Zealand 1860 (Feb. and Aug.) 3oz. and 2oz. entires from Akaroa, being bank correspondence to Lyttelton, showing manuscript "Registered 2/-" and "Registered 1/8" in red crayon respectively, each with poor Port Victoria c.d.s. on face and good to fine Akaroa arrival c.d.s. on reverse; both with no side flaps and rebacked internally though an unusual pair. Also 1853 small envelope from London to Wellington showing printed "forwarded by frederick young & co/74, cornhill, london" at top, rated "2" and with Port Victoria and Wellington c.d.s.
