New Guinea 1915 (4 Jan.) envelope from Rabaul and addressed locally, bearing 1915 (Jan.) "Rabaul (Deutsch Neuguinea)" 3d. registration label (Setting A [5]) in combination with 1914 (16 Dec.) Marshall Islands 2d. on 10pf. and 2d. on 20pf. (only a trace of a stop after "G"), all three sharing a good strike of the Rabaul New Britain oval d.s. in violet and showing, on reverse, "kaiserl. hauptkasse/rabaul" Arms label in blue used as a seal; the envelope with small tear at top through opening, otherwise fine.
