x James I (1603-1625), third coinage, 1619-1625, Crown, 29.85g, m.m. lis, king, crowned and shouldering sword, riding right on caparisoned horse, ground line with grass below, colon stops, rev. garnished square topped shield, one stop only after separet (N.2120; S.2665), possibly once mounted, weakness on horses´s head and tail, minor die flaw in field to right of shield, clear mint marks, pleasing tone on obverse, nearly very fine Estimate £ 1,200-1,500
