Three: Sergeant A.E. Wiltshire, Metropolitan Police Jubilee 1897 (P.C. A. Wiltshire D. Divn.); Coronation 1902, bronze issue (P.C.. A. Wiltshire. D. Div); Coronation 1911 (P.C. A. Wiltshire), good very fine, mounted together with a certificate awarded to the recipient on the occasion of his retirement from the G.P.O., dated 1920, and sealed in a glazed frame (3) Estimate £ 70-90 77948 Sergeant Albert Edward Wiltshire, (1872-1956), born Croydon, Surrey, and named after H.R.H. The Prince of Wales; enlisted in the Metropolitan Police, and posted to Marylebone Police Station, 8.8.1892; transferred to ´A´ (Whitehall) Division, 1903; promoted Sergeant, and transferred to the General Post Office Investigation Branch, 24.12.1913; retired due to an injury received whilst on duty, 17.6.1919. The GPO Investigation Branch was staffed by Police Officers, but maintained at the cost of the Postmaster General until the 1970s.
