K.R.R.C.), good very fine Estimate £ 100-130 1709 Regimental Sergeant Major Llewellyn Owen born Newton, Montgomery; joined King´s Royal Rifle Corps 1884; Colour Sergeant 1891; served in India (entitled to the India General Service Medal 1854-95 with clasp ´Lushai 1889-92´) during which campaign he was Mentioned in Major-General Stewart´s Despatch, 19.6.1892 (entitled to Long Service & G.C. Medal); Sergeant Major 7.2.1900; discharged 17.2.1905, after 21 years and 14 days with the Colours; re-engaged for service in the Great War as Regimental Sergeant Major, 2.1.1915; discharged 18.2.1919.
